HOW TO REMOVE YOUR TAPE HAIR EXTENSIONS AT HOME USING OUR TAPE HAIR EXTENSIONS REMOVAL HOME KIT.
Step 1: Brush your hair with our soft detangling brush to remove any knots in your hair.
Step 2: Section your hair (using our section clips) to expose the tapes and prepare for removal.
Step 3: Apply the tape remover spray directly on to the tapes, one at a time. Let it soak in for a few seconds.
Step 4: Using the tail of our pintail comb, gently poke the pin through to the centre of the sandwiched tapes.
Step 5: Gently pull each side of the tape, one by one, without using too much force and to avoid pulling your own hair. Apply more spray if required.
Repeat steps 2-5 until all your tapes have been removed. If any tape residue remains on your hair apply more spray and pick out with your fingers.
Step 6: After removing all your extensions, comb your hair with our pintail comb to remove any of the buildup before washing your hair with our clarifying shampoo.
Extra tip: If you have plans to re-use your tape extensions, it will be helpful for your Extensionist if you keep your extensions organised by sticking them on to a piece of A4 paper and positioning them accordingly, row by row, as you remove each tape. You can then gently fold this sheet and place in to our zip-up bag which is provided as part of your tape hair extensions removal home-kit.
